The Carbon Tax Is Increasing...Again!
The Carbon Tax is part of the federal government's carbon polluting pricing system and took effect Jan 01 2020 and is designed to increase every April 1 thereafter until April 2030. It has increased from $2.629 to $3.327 per GJ effective April 01, 2023. This is a $0.698 per GJ increase and will be applied to the volume you consume for this period.
